Cover Crop Field Day

The Madera/Chowchilla RCD (MCRCD) and Community Alliance with Family Farmers (CAFF) will be hosting a Cover Crop Field Day event on March 13th from 10AM-12:30PM, lunch will be provided! Topics include how healthy soils impact sustainable use of water in irrigated agriculture, why healthy soils are important for an ecosystem, and how cover crops contribute to long-term soil health. 1.5 INMP credits will be provided. Featured speakers include Andrew Carroll of Rockin JR Farms and EcoThrive & Silas Rossow from Cal Ag Solutions. RSVP is required.
