Healthy Soils: Restoring Water on Working Lands Event

Join the Tuolumne County Resource Conservation District and conservation partners for a free event to learn about soil and water conservation on working lands in the Sierra Nevada foothills and mountains. Water conservation topics covered include:
* Understanding the Basics of Water Management
* Mastering Water Management in Annual and Perennial Crop
* Systems: Techniques for Effective Irrigation Scheduling
* Managing Soils for Water Conservation
* Riparian Habitat Restoration: Planning and Considerations
* Technical and Financial Assistance

There will be a special tour with Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians of the
Turnback Creek & Tuolumne Log Pond Rehabilitation Project. Learn how the tribe is protecting community water access, wildfire
resiliency, cultural heritage, and watershed/ecosystem health
through riparian restoration.

* Water & coffee to be provided. Please bring a lunch.
* Presentations will take place indoors and outdoors, please dress accordingly.
