Steven farms 300 acres of certified organic raisin grapes in Easton, CA. His father had always done things others thought were outside of the box, including farming organically in 1999, so Steven is following in Dwayne’s innovative footsteps. He is experimenting with different climate smart agriculture practices including cover cropping, reducing tillage, composting, and drones and moisture probes for monitoring–all of which have lowered his costs and freed up time and labor.
